Location: Dunmow Office
Salary: £27,000 + bonus + ~£1,000 on‑call allowance
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm

We are now looking for a motivated and driven Care Coordinator to join our growing team.

What you will be doing
In this varied and fast‑paced role, you will develop a broad set of skills while supporting the smooth running of our service. Your responsibilities will include:
Participating in the out‑of‑hours on‑call rota to support care assistants
Covering ad hoc care visits during staff absence or sickness
Creating consistent and accurate fortnightly rotas
Handling incoming calls professionally and supporting enquiries confidently
Recording all enquiries efficiently and accurately
Updating and communicating changes in Client needs or care assistant availability
Logging feedback, concerns, and queries in a timely manner
Matching suitable care assistants to individual care packages
Monitoring and recording care assistant holidays, sickness, and absences
Supporting daily compliance for both clients and staff
Completing field observations and providing constructive feedback for ongoing development
Managing the Client journey from initial assessment through to care planning
Building strong relationships through clear and positive communication
Producing weekly reports on compliance KPIs
What you will need
Previous domiciliary care experience — essential
Full UK driving licence, own vehicle, and Class 1 business insurance
Right to work in the UK
Experience using scheduling, HR or digital care systems — desirable
Confident in Microsoft Outlook and Teams
Relevant Health & Social Care qualifications — desirable

A strong administrator who can manage multiple tasks effectively
We welcome applicants with experience as a Care Coordinator, Care Scheduler, Care Administrator, or Field Care Supervisor.
We also encourage ambitious candidates from other sectors, such as retail management, hospitality staffing or airline scheduling, who are eager to build a long‑term career in homecare. Full training will be provided.
