Right at Home Bishop's Stortford & Braintree is an award-winning care provider who supports vulnerable adults in the local community who need care and support in their own home. We can offer you full training and flexible hours that work around your availability to make sure that those who need help will get it.
You will be able to add real value to the lives of vulnerable adults who rely heavily on our services and caring nature of our people. As a care assistant you will provide our wonderful clients with: companionship, personal care, medication support, shopping, housekeeping and meal preparation for our clients.

- Competitive hourly rates £13.25ph Weekdays and £14.00ph Weekend and Enhancement on Bank Holidays

Duties will include:
- Motivating Clients to get the most out of their day
- Personal care
- Administering medication
- Assisting Clients with washing and dressing
- Shopping
- Housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Taking Clients for appointments or outings
Requirements of a Care Assistant:
- Must hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving licence and have access to own vehicle
- Be able to offer availability either early mornings (from 7am), afternoon (from 2pm) or evening (from 5pm) and every other weekend
- Commit to attending a 3-day training course
- Live locally to Braintee, Uttlesford and surrounding areas
- Have or be willing to obtain business vehicle insurance
If you have experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Carer, HCA, Health Care Assistant or in the NHS we would love to hear from you. However, if you do not have experience, we provide full training and encourage candidates from all sectors to apply, for example: retail sales assistant, customer service, hairdressers/beauticians, receptionist, administrator, cleaners, warehouse workers and delivery drivers. This could be the start of your new career, with our full support and outstanding training, anything is possible if you put your head and heart into it.
